Re-post only a few pictures of the distributor.

Your mission, should you choose to accept, is to identify:
1) The three wire harness with flat pins that connects to the mating socket on the distributor.
2) The wire from the ignition switch that is hot when the key is in the run position.
3) The wire from the starter solenoid that is hot only while the starter is operating.

Is there an aftermarket ignition trigger/controller that you have in mind? Pertronix is a familiar one.
