It's tricky .

I was one of those who needed to be smacked now and then else I'd never learn .

I flat refuse to _ever_ hit my foster boys so it's interesting to see how they come out .

We loose one now and then but most age out then come back to say "! THANK YOU !" once they realize that life ain't easy if you have no self respect or self control .
