Thanks Frank! Thought about it and had tried previously on another post but it’s not working on my phone for whatever reason (just like not being able to start or respond to private messages) and ultimately didn’t do it.

Mike my fuel pump has quit working. I’ve got power to it but judging by the sludge that used to be fuel I’m assuming it is that’s the culprit. Concerning the fuel filter placement, the pump had a filter after it. I also placed have one before the carbs to catch anything as I don’t watch to rebuild the carbs again. But I may need to remove that one because I’m afraid pressure might be tool low there.

Also since now everything should be clean—(makeshift tank, new lines, clean carbs (I hope), and now new pump (once someone suggests a pump) —the rust situation should be solved.
