So I scratched my truck, bent some lawn chairs and pushed in my garage door. The garage door will not open and close now.

So I realize now my insurance agent has been stalling talking to me because he is saying I cannot get an insurance claim if the loss is self inflicted.

I am having trouble with this concept. If I drop a cigarette and burn my house down is it not covered? This is a loss caused by my truck so it should be covered under my auto policy imho.

Any insurance experts out there?
May depend upon the company/policy but I stuck my foot through my ceiling when I running wires up.in the attic. I was covered but the deductible news higher than the cost so I repaired not my self.
