I have an odd problem with the central locking on my 85 300SD. The vacuum pump in the trunk is dead. I disconnected the wires (red & black as well as the yellow, blue and brown from the circular plugin) from the pump. The problem is I have constant power on all the wires (red, yellow and blue) even with the wires disconnected from the pump. I am thinking this burned up the pump. When I cycle the key in the driver, passenger and trunk, the light does blink, but stays lit.

Any help much appreciated!
