No there is no way to clean the ports due to the location inside the carb bore. But I did discover the exhaust system is extremely plugged with carbon/soot which will cause all sorts of running problems. Once I get it cleaned (quite a process as the carbon in the head pipe is rock hard) I will see how it runs.
