If possible add an assistance bar on the wall. For that toilet.

We have one bathtub that I have not gotten around to putting safety bars on the surround.. To slip and fall in a bathtub is perhaps about as bad as it gets.

You probably would not believe how careful I am when using that tub. At one time most cast iron tubs had a rim you could grasp I remember. A feature consigned to history pretty much.
