Did you ever get rocker panels yet? I would go with buying the sedan version and cutting sections to fit your car.
When you replace them you can cut the old out a 1/2 or so from the A, B, C pillar areas as needed so you dont have to figure out how to fit the thing into areas it doesnt want to go. The outer was spot welded. just drill holes in the new one and rosette weld them.
The inner you can make a new bottom edge and weld it in. One of those little brakes from harbor freight works well (they make a 18" and 30" versions) and I also found somewhere a pliers with a 4" wide jaws for hand bending. When welding sheet metal go very slow and dont let the metal get too hot!! IT will warp ever thing. This include grinding welds as that can overheat the metal. I use 60 grit 4" discs. Buy good ones- they are expensive now but last. I only use 3M. They make a ceramic one that is about $2 each.
Jack points can be made from pipe and sheet metal yourself. Search ebay for "W116 jack point" and you will find ones that I make for W116 chassis.
