Varies w/ locality and time of day, but now costlier than fueling a 40 mpg gas sedan. Of course, charging at home at midnight rates is smarter, though still painful price in San Diego. I remember the 1970's when M-B diesel cars were the rage, partly because the fuel was half the price of gasoline.
