The Crossfire is a product of Daimler-Benz and Chrysler tie-up. It is based on the current SLK, and the commonality of parts is just over 30%.

From the reviews based on pre-production road tests (CAR magazine, May issue if I am not wrong), the handling and QC is superior to the SLK.
