Was fuming that I had to go to HF for a tool, then I thought why not try one of my small gear pullers? Success!! Just small enough and the 3 arms popped free. Removed them and the cowl. Does let a lot more light in, but not as much room as I was hoping for. Would rather not mess with the wiper mechanism/transmission as I heard it is a bear to realign, not sure.
Should I remove or will this make for another headache during reassembly?
