I drove over to my brothers home for Thanksgiving yesterday. About 2 miles from his house, when applying the brakes, whoa! the pedal went way down. Brakes worked, pumped pedal & it came up. Checked at his place, fluid was OK. Drove home, on freeway!, no stops & driving slower than traffic, no braking necessary. (late afternoon, very little traffic). Got home & noticed no brake lites either. Woke up at 09:00 this morning, have not looked at anything yet. I am thinking master cylinder, this one was installed about 12 years ago. What does one cost these days? Is rebuilding a viable option?
