I have a 1976 W115 240D that is in immaculate condition with the older vertical light configuration. I want to add fog lights but I also want to keep the car as factory original as possible. It is for that reason that I'd like to avoid drilling any holes in my rust-free, perfect condition body. Does anyone know of mounts that would clamp onto the huge American market bumpers that would take the appropriate lights without looking too goofy? I see VW mounts out there but I'm not sure they'd look right.
