Hello fellow SLK owners,

I have a 99 SLK230 sport, Kompressor, with a 5-speed.

On two occasions now in the past 2 months when I go to start the car (press in the clutch, turn the key) NOTHING. Both times a bit cold out (40 degrees or so). After awhile (waiting 15-20 min) the car turns over.

My question: Possible it's the clutch switch? It is 24 years old. Battery is fine. All lights on dash on and bright..It just starts like nothing ever happened..

I believe the clutch switch is located at the end of the clutch pedal other side of firewall?

Any others had this issue? Any info is appreciated!
