I have an '88 300SE. My lower crossbar is bent. I have looked for a replacement with no luck. The parts are all spot welded in place. So it looks like the junkyard and my MIG welder will get some use.

Is your part in any shape to weld the two ends together? If not, the junkyard may be your only hope. Just make sure the doner is clipped well outside of your damaged area so you can trim/clean it back to fit your car.
