Thanks for your help. I did find what looks line a bi-metal probe plugged into the evaporator with a long wire that I assume is the one plugged into the rotary
temperature control on the dash. The bad news is that I can't find a replacement for my model. I am considering splicing in one from another year.
What are your thoughts?
