My old truck's higher compression engine wants (not requires) premium fuels. I was well pleased to find it for $4.36 the other day when I filled it up .
I wish they'd made a larger fuel tank though .
The shop manual says 10 gallons although a few times when I nearly ran it out I put in 11 .
I put the larger, 22 gallon fuel tank into my '82 420D so I can go much further on a tank .
