O.K. new idea, try this one...
I tried to diagram out each of your tests and think maybe this might work, so if you would give this a try:
1. Wire from supply (+) to pin 2
2. Pin 3 to relay (+)
3. Ground (supply (-)) to pin 1
4. Relay (-) to supply (-)
This might get it all relay, LED switch, etc, hope this works, good luck!
