Im not a drummer, just curious as to other opinions.


My list of fav drummers:

#1 - elvin jones, played with bird, duke, miles, trane, and is on many legendary recordings.

jazz- elvin, max roach, blakey, taylor, thigpen, shaughneesy, ts monk

rock- steve gadd with steely dan, Aldridge as with travers, watts with the stones, buddy miles.

vibes- milt jackson and lionel Hampton
