Actually, it CAN be done. My friend's 500E(1992)ran a 0-100km/h time of 5.1, and converted into 0-60mile, I would say his ran at time of 4.9 - 5.0 sec.

Also, his car(outside temp at 18C) ran a 1/4 mile in 12.7 - 13.4 sec. so, guess it CAN be done. 500E rocks....

One, one thing I would like to mention, is that his can has the same problem(advantage!!??)as my 400SE. His car can also run about 300 rpm beyond redline before the tranny up-shifts....
