Wow....very impressive. Was your friend's car bone stock? If not, what had he done?

As far as the redline issue...mine always hit about 6400rpm in 1st gear, 6000rpm in all others. It did however charge right past the supposed speed limiter at 155mph. Pegged speedo past 160mph till it redlined in top gear.
