1985 300SD Oil Pressure

I've had this car for about a year and, as long as I've had it, when it starts up the oil pressure gauge reads 2 bar. As soon as I hit the accelerator, it would jump to 3 bar. Yesterday, on the drive home from work, I noticed it was sitting at about 2 bar while accelerating (not WOT, just light acceleration). At idle, it would stop to about 0.1 or 0.2 bar, and it wouldn't reach 3 bar until I was at about 2,300 RPM.

I haven't had a chance to do any troubleshooting since, right when this happened, I had to leave on a work trip the next day and just returned. I haven't even checked the oil level yet.

I've read around the forum and see a lot of people recommending the 2 small o-rings in the oil filter housing. A couple of others recommending the sending unit itself. The only thing that caught my attention was, everyone that was having the o-rings recommended had recently dinner an oil change or some other maintenance involving the oil system. I haven't touched it since the last oil change about 6 months ago.

I was just hoping for any sort of insight. Thank you for any help
