'83 300SD.
Why does this smooth & graceful car need such an enormous steering wheel? In an '83 there is no airbag & there is no way to adjust the tilt or telescope the wheel.
I'm 6'2" & I recently had spine surgery, twisting my thigh under the steering wheel is super uncomfortable. I keep the seat adjustment quite low.
I don't know how long I will keep this jewel in the fleet & I don't want to discard the original wheel.
I just want to know if anyone has found a smaller option that bolts on without modification. (Maybe a Cheech & Chong chain steering wheel?) (};
