Check the battery voltage. If it is good disconnect the battery by disconnecting the negative first, then check, clean and tighten the battery connections at both ends of each cable.

The click being heard is most likely a relay clicking, if it was a blown fuse from the first start attempt it wouldn't have made noise the second time.

IMO, the likely problem is battery related i.e., defective or a bad connection. If the battery is defective delaying replacing it can create other electrical problems.
