About 30 years ago, was an article in the Seattle times about an old fellow who got a little bit of extra money once a year, I forget a pension bonus of some sort. Anyway, he would go to Reno and gamble. One year he won a $500,000 slot machine jackpot. The casino personnel were all over him, lavishing all kinds of stuff on him, the best room in the place, on the house! He said “I had the best women money could buy.” The woman and the gambling were not on the house. After about a week he managed to catch himself and limped out of town with $35,000. Better than nothing I guess.
