Congrats on your purchase. Sounds like she was well cared for. As you probably know those early climate control systems were not the best to begin with and expensive to replace. you might keep in the back of your mind there is a way to bypass it so you can have all the functions. I dont know how as I dont have climate control but my MB mechanic / friend does, so I,m sure people on this list do to. I know you want to get things going right but if you get tired of messing with it  there is another way
