On Early Morning energy I decided to look on a 72 Parts car I have up here
with the Dash all ready opened up more of less
I found the Flasher fast just next to the hand brake a round cylindrical aluminum tube like flasher with a 3 wire hook up and a 1 prong on the hook up making a total of 4 > It Bolts with 1 about 8 MM to a place on the Dash underside
( a 72 W 108 Hazard Switch is different that a 1967 )
Rather then remove is I then looked on the 67 W 108 and found it right away also in same place it had thew same hook up but was shorted then the 72 Flasher .
Then I noticed from that Viewing angle that 1 Fuse was blown ! on the main fuse panel / It was not the fuse on the list that said something about the Turn signals ? But rather Listed as Fuel Pump ? Then I noted someone had soldered a wire to that terminal ?
Suspecting that something had been hacked I replace the fuse and the turn signals began working as before along with the inside Signal indicator arrows . So as originally thought I had blue a fuse or the flasher ? as I noted that it was a tiny or small Spark I saw when I blue it >
as a 250 S Model has no Electric Fuel pump I realized someone had used that non used Fuse slot to wire in something to the Flasher ( a very good Idea ! )
I also Read about the Flasher being next to the Hazard switch or a part of it But this was not the case ?
Then this time with the battery disconnected I repaired the Rear Taillight turn signal " was a bad ground " and moved on .
Thank You Idle and forum once again
Note I see these Flashers are Very costly and no longer available humm .
All in All once you know your way around these Mercedes only some stuff is really hard not all .
