You have quite a few PNP yards in your area, Moss Landing, 2 in SJ, Newark, Oakland,
Sacramento, etc... use to live in Soquel, and hit all them.
Do you know about www.row52.com ? One thing I learned searching for 240D not all come up, search for 240.
I usually just type in Mercedes and the search area, and every MB listed comes up.

240 and 300`s and maybe the 280E had the older Compressors.
79 240 might be the last yr, my 80 240 has the new style.

The 79 & 80 300SD have the clean manifolds w/o the EGR garbage.
Maybe you know this already.

Over here in Carson City area, got my wings clipped. Not many MB here.
Is a 77 280E in the Carson yard. Was up there 2 weeks ago, don`t
remember what it had. But dang it was run into the ground.
