I am stuck on the sunroof while taking the 126 diesel conversion apart for paint..
Can I use a 12 volt battery to plug directly to wires of sunroof motor to run it back and forward?

Edit: Yes, connecting the battery to the wire coming from the sunroof motor is just like connecting the wires to the window motors. Pos on one wire and neg on the other makes the windows and sunroof move in one direction. Swapping the wires moves the subject in the opposite direction.
