I've been to Boston a few times on business (we have a radar out on the cape) and that is one scarry experience. It was back when the big dig was going on (is it finished yet?) so traffic was more conjested than normal.

One thing that really suprised me is how people are allowed to drive in the broke down lane. Here you are in the slow lane minding your business and BOOM, there's somebody passing you on the right on the shoulder. If you aren't used to it, it can be pretty unnerving.
