tranny shrapnel
Hey guys,
I was doing a service on my little brothers w201. Found this in the pan. Looks like springs, pins or maybe bearings, bits of a casing of some kind maybe? Weird thing is that it was driving shifting fine, just had a very weak reverse which I am assuming this had something to do with. What do you all think? Hes on a budget and I am sure would not want to pony up for a new tranny. Put it back together and pretend I didnt see it? Of course, ticking time bomb...
