This week I will be purchasing a 96 E300D. I contacted the previous owner who was meticulous about maintenence - in his own way. The one thing that worries me is that he used Wolf's Head 15w-40 oil. Initial intervals were about 7000-9000 miles then about every 5000. There is 66K on the car and it looks brand new in all other repects.

Is anyone familiar with this oil? Is it diesel rated? Should this be a deal breaker?
