Actually, the limo bar is almost identical in shape to the Sportline bar, which is almost identical to the stock 300E/300E bar. Photos are here (look at "limo_bar3.jpg) :

The limo bar fits the 124 chassis with 6 cylinder engines perfectly, zero mods, nothing "not perfectly straight", no spacers needed, etc. Fitment of a 124 bar (any version) into a 201 chassis is something I have NEVER done so I can't offer advice on that... sorry!
