Gilly, I was under the impression it used hall-effect counting to
operate the express feature but, used both counting and amperage for the window reversal in pinch protection.
I had a motor that pulled over 15 amps traveling up, it tripped
the pinch protection the entire way and could not be synched
until the motor was replaced with one that drew only 5amps.
just my 2 cents.
