The W114/W115 chassis is the SAME chassis. The W114 chassis has more trim, exterior & interior. The W114 chassis was only for 6 cylinder gas cars. The W114 chassis had only 6 models in the USA 2 of them were coupes.
The 1975/76 300D was really a W114 chassis so they gave it the W115.114 designation.
