When these cars were new on showroom floor my dad had an Audi. The Audi dealer in Macon also sold Porsche. I well remember admiring (IIRC a 1978 or 79) a red 930 turbo on the showroom floor with a sticker price of $33k. $8k more than the first house I purchased in 1985
