Jeremy Clarkson cancer diagnosis
Well damn. I hope he pulls through. From the sounds of it they may have caught it in time.
Quote:
Jeremy Clarkson has revealed he's been diagnosed with prostate cancer. The British TV host, known for Top Gear and The Grand Tour, shared his cancer is "aggressive," but it was detected early.
"I disappeared off the other week and I had a biopsy, and it is cancer and it's aggressive, but it's really early," Clarkson, 66, shared in two episodes of his reality series, Clarkson's Farm, released on June 16.
"I promise I'll be fine," Clarkson said, noting he'd known "since May" and that he'd be out of the spotlight "for a little while."
While it's unclear when the footage was filmed, the BBC reported that the series was shot in 2024 and 2025. The two episodes, titled "Sickening" and "Reaping," are the final two episodes of the series's fifth season.
In the Prime Video show, Clarkson noted he had undergone an operation to remove the cancerous section: "I won't know whether it's worked or not until November, probably," he added. "The prostate, 10 per cent of it's dead, the 10 per cent where the cancer is."
