Thanks you for the suggestions. I turned the mixture adjusting screw on top of the Air Mass flow meter util the resistance on the flap felt ok. The I recharged the battery since it was almost drained with all the unsuccessful cranking. The engine then started. While the engine was running the duty cycle was stuck at about 90 percent. I adjusted the screw a bit more and the it started fluctuating at about 50 percent. Perfect.
