Well, I guess I dont know where I read it. I could have swarn it was in the service manual, but I just looked, and it isnt. Now I wonder where I read it, it isnt the type of thing I would have thought on my own to replace. (I feel like an idiot) I guess a good question is then, is a timing chain something that should be done as preventative maintenence or is it a fix it when its broke thing?
What about the tensioner? Mark mentions doing that just to be safe? Its going in Fri to get the A/C checked out, might as well take care of some things while its there.
