Without the BBs, after the window reaches it's up or down limit, the
window regulator is still energised, isn't it - due to the permanent contact of the switch at either end without the BBs to back them to the middle.
Won't the regulators be working overtime?
Just a thought, though the one-touch idea is superb if nothing else is mechanically/electrically compromised.
I have done a repair on my front power window switch before and understand exactly what you have done.
I thought it was a good idea to remove the BBs but was worried about the window regulators being engaged till you touch the switch a second time to disengage it.Then it wouldn't be one-touch anymore, now would it?
