I have a plan and need some help / technical expertise.
Now that Mercedes has gotten their act together and is finally building an E55 AMG 4MATIC Wagon, I'm interested in taking advantage of their research and upgrading the suspension of my 4MATIC Wagon.
I noticed you have put together a kit to convert a 210 to a E55 suspension. I'm interested in a kit to convert my 4MATIC Wagon to a E55 4MATIC Wagon, and have the following questions:
1. Will I need to change the self-leveling suspension shocks in the rear?
2. Is there going to be any problems fitting parts from a 2000 to a 1999?
3. What is the difference between the 1999 E320 4MATIC transmission/transfer case and the US 2000 E430 transmission/transfer case? How does the US version E430 4MATIC transmission/transfer case differ from the E55 4MATIC transmission/transfer case - are they the same?
4. What size tire is on the E55 4MATIC? Are they running the same size on all four corners due to the 4MATIC?
5. I'm interested in the identical parts as on the E55 4MATIC not just the parts to create a sportline suspension.
I think you guys are doing a great job with this site and appreciate you taking the time to research the conversion for me.
