This thread headline just pulled me right in, I'm thinking the same thing. As many of you know my 83 (shining example of W123) is currently up for sale, but if I want to get an 87 I'd also like to sell the 84 (clean, but a lot of little problems). I probably have mid to upper 2s into it and can get maybe mid 1s out of it, but have only driven it 4k miles so far. I would sort of like to get a little more mileage for my loss if I do decide to sell it. Also if I only have the 87 I'll be racking up some miles on it with the upcoming semester. If that car doesn't have head/turbo issues that sounds like a steal!! I have my eye on an 300D around Baltimore area for $3800 with 150k miles on it, and I thought that was a pretty good deal!
