The one thing I have noticed is that unlike many SL buyers, they pay cash. I always thought the SL buyer was well-heeled, but it turns out about half the new SL buyers are working stiffs that stretch tot he last penny to make the lease payment on an SL. According to MB Canada, the average income for an SL buyer was barely more than the C-Class buyer. Go figure.
Interesting.... Last time I checked, they said SL/CL/S buyers make an average of $120K a year according to their(MB) own statistics.......

Anyways, back to the topic..... S600(Bi-Turbo) can be insanely fast, and even more so with ECU upgrade.... I have seen vid clips of a S600 w/Renntech ECU upgrade running 11.78@130(give or take 3 mph) on drag strip......
