When you jack up the left side, take a look at the condition of the subframe mount. When the weight is off the mount it will let the subframe hang down a little, unless if it is shot, then the frame will hang down a lot and you'll likely see lots of dead rubber. You might even find you lateral stabilizer broken (mine was), it attaches from the center of the sub frame to the right side mount for the steering damper.
