I purchased my 1988 300e from Donnie (Benzmac)about a month ago. I fell in love with it the minute I drove it. I've learned to appreciate a lot about MB since my affiliation with these cars began 8 months ago. I knew what I was getting into when I bought it. My friends and family all thought I was nuts because of the year and mileage (200+K) . I tell you one thing,the skepticism stops once they experience the ride. The comment I hear the most is "I can't believe this car is 12 years old and has this much mileage on it!!" I don't think I'll be able to look at another type of car for a while. I'm just hoping one day to own a CLK!!
