I'm happy to say that just last week I purchased my first benz (CLK-320, silver on black). I have for over twenty years been a devoted BMW owner and when I began car shopping about a month ago I never dreamed of switching to an MB. I believed that MBs where over priced and over rated until......I began test driving them! I also drove top of the line Volvos, BMWs and Audis but kept coming back to the Mercedes for quality in form, fit, funtion and style. The CLK offered me the sportiness I was looking for without yeilding to comfort and ride. This car is a perfect fit for me and I doubt I'll ever go back to BMW. This adventure has also sold my wife on the MB. She currently owns a new Volvo and vows to switch to MB in the future. This was a good thread for me to offer my new found appreciation for Mercedes Benz. Thanks to everyone at MB!
