Now you've touched a subject that is near and dear to my heart. Too bad I'm going on vacation tomorrow and won't be around to see how this plays out. I hope everybody follows the rules so this thread doesn't get "moderated."

The circumcision is really a triple whammy to the organ, potentially resulting in a huge loss of pleasure. First, thousands of nerve endings are removed along with that "little patch of skin." Those nerve endings can never be repalced. Second, the protection for the glans is taken away, so the glans itself becomes dry and thickens. The term for this is keratinization. The glans should NOT feel like skin, it should feel like the tissue in the inside of your lower lip. Third, taking away the forskin leaves us with no other option then to directly rub the glans during sex. Most any uncut guy will tell you that rubbing the glans directly is not pleasurable! What nature intended was for the foreskin to roll back and forth over the glans and stimulate those nerve endings in the foreskin. That's what provides the most pleasure to the uncut guy.

How do I know all this? Because I was circumcised as an infant and have had problems later because of it. By age 30 there was almost a complete loss of sensitivity in my glans. After doing some research, I started restoring my foreskin a couple years ago. About half way through the process now, there is some improvement. But as I said above thousands of nerve endings were cut off and cannot ever be recovered.

Why would anyone do that to their child? By circumcising your son, you are doing irreparable harm to a body that is not your own. In my opinion, nobody has the right to do that to someone else. If I didn't love my parents so much, I would have considered suing them and the doctor who did this to me.
