Doubledrive played in a venue near me. It was open-air and it began raining about 10 minutes into the peformance. They played to an unfortunately small, but very dedicated and very appreciative crowd last night. I think it was a small crowd, maybe 200-300, primarily because of very poor local promotion. I only saw mention made of them once in the local newspaper. Mikemover, peple are gonna kick their own butts when they find out what they missed.

You guys have a very highly developed signature sound to your music. Though thoroughly contemporary, listening to you brought back memories of my own wonderful, thoroughly misspent days listening to Jimi Hendrix Experience, Led Zepellin, Allman Bros, ZZ Top, and others that I caught live at various excruciatingly hot and muggy summer-evening concerts.
