SEC grill conversions are very common. There's one for sale over in the classifieds of www.190revolution.net and other places. There are SL and SEC grill inserts, whole grill replacements (chrome frame and insert), and the current "rage", taking a C-Class grill and welding/blending onto the 190 hood.



You have to consider that the W201 was an entry level Mercedes (still, it sold for over $20K new) and by this time has wound up in the hands of some younger owners who have eschewed the Civic/Integra/Sentra crowd and have gone Euro.
