May as well start the 240D speed forum with a caution, was adjusting the linkages from the pedal to the butterfly to the i.p. trying to keep the pivot under the exhaust manifold from hitting it, which led to more smoke, so readjusted the others. That got more advance on the butterfly compared to the i.p., less smoke and quieter run than when I bought it! But not satisfied, tweaked a little more and was able to get the arm controlling the fuel on the i.p. to come in line with the linkage locking the entire system a wide open throttle

I'm still getting all the gunk off to where one can actually see some of the engine parts, and can see now the spring that is supposed to wrap around that control arm is broken so it doesn't push the arm back down. So be careful of what seem like minor tweaks.
